This study aimed at investigating the effect of using Mathematical games based on cooperative learning in teaching fractions on the achievement of fourth grade students and their attitudes towards mathematics. The sample of the study consisted of (80)fourth students distributed into two groups, the experimental group was taught by using mathematical games while the control group was taught by the traditional method. Two way analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the achievement of fourth grade students and their attitudes towards mathematics, and the difference were in favor to the experimental group. |
