|a يعالج هذا المقال موضوعاً مهماً وهو الخصائص والصفات التي يجب أن تتوفر في مربية الطفولة الأولى، ودورها في التعامل مع طفل ما قبل المدرسة بمعنى مجمل الكفايات التي يجب أن تتوفر فيها لتكون لديها القدرة والإمكانية للعمل مع الطفل في مرحلة وصفها علماء النفس بالمرحلة الحساسة. تتمثل هذه الخصائص في: الخصائص الجسمية، العقلية، النفسية الاجتماعية، والخصائص الأخلاقية. وحتى يمكن تحقيق هدف التربية التحضيرية وهو التنمية الشاملة والمتكاملة لشخصية الطفل وتحضيره للمراحل التعليمية اللاحقة، لابد من أن تخضع المربية لتكوين مهني يمكنها من اكتساب الكفايات العلمية والمهنية اللازمة للتعامل مع طفل ما قبل المدرسة، كان تعرف مبادئ سيكلوجة التعلم، وأن تكون على دراية بطرق التعليم الفعالة، وطرق التعامل مع الطفل.
