نظرا لاعتقاد كثير من الطلبة بأن المرحلة الثانوية لا تحتاج للابتكار والإبداع، وبالتالي فهي لا تستحق بذل الجهد للتدريب وتنشيط ملكات الذكاءات المتعددة لديهم، فهي مجرد مرحلة مرورية للوصول إلى مستوى الثاني عشر، فقد هدف البحث إلى تعرف مستوى الذكاءات المتعددة لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية في دولة الكويت وعلاقته بتحصيلهم الدراسي، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لمناسبته الإجابة على أسئلة البحث. ولتطبيق منهج البحث اختيرت عينة البحث بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية وتكونت من (200) طالب وطالبة بنسبة 2% تقريبا من مجتمع الدراسة البالغ (11081) طالبا وطالبة. أظهرت نتائج البحث حيازة مستوى الذكاءات المتعددة لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية في مدارس منطقة العاصمة التعليمية بدولة الكويت على المستوى المتوسط كما أظهرت قناعات المبحوثين وجود علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية بين الذكاءات المتعددة والتحصيل الدراسي لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية في مدارس منطقة العاصمة التعليمية بدولة الكويت، حيث تمثلت هذه العلاقة بقيمة ارتباط عالية (0.978) تشير إلى إنه كلما ازداد الذكاء ارتفعت قيمة التحصيل الدراسي والعكس صحيح.
Because of many students’ belief that the secondary stage does not need creativity and innovation, and therefore it does not need exerting effort to activate and train their Multiple Intelligences and this stage is just a road that leads to the twelfth stage. So this study aimed at identifying Multiple Intelligences of the secondary stage’s students in the state of Kuwait and its relation to their academic achievement. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was used for its appropriateness to answer the questions . A stratified random sampling procedure was used to select the sample of the study. The sample consisted of 200 male and female students (representing 2% )of the population of the study which was ( 11081) male and female students . Results of the study showed that level of the multiple intelligences of the secondary stage’s students in the schools of the Capital Educational Area in Kuwaitwas at the moderate level. in addition the respondents’ belief showed a positive correlation between the multiple intelligences and the academic achievement of the secondary stage students in the schools of Capital Educational Area in the state of Kuwait and this correlation was represented by a high value ( 0.978) which indicates that whenever the intelligence is high, the academic achievement increases and vice versa.
