The total number of sample of the study is forty participants including ten EFL university teaching staff at UWK, and thirty long-experienced teachers of English language at both basic and secondary schools in Elnihood area. The analytical descriptive approach is adopted to handle this study, and a questionnaire, structured interview and personal observation of the researchers are used as tools for collecting data. The findings of the study reveal that the students commit pronunciation errors due to some factors such as: Interference of mother tongue of Sudanese EFL university students in the learning process, besides the phonological system differences between Arabic and English language, in addition to the varied nature of the English language vowel sounds and the lack of correlation between orthography and pronunciation of English language contribute to most of these errors.
