المستخلص: The translator needs to understand the stages surrounding the creative process of the author of the original text, with the aim of reflecting the original text author's view and the circumstances that pushed him to write, especially, a mysterious poetic text that depicts the different socio-cultural, religious and artistic image, in which the symbol is brought up. This requires the study of language within interdisciplinary structures within a complex set of systems. We will discuss the most important views on the translation of poetry: there is a great debate - may be considered sterile - that the translation of poetry is ac betrayal to the original text, and thus, translated of poetry is impossible. Or is this view excessive and extreme? For a poem can be transferred to another language without distortion. In this article, we will consider this dualism in the arab and western worlds by studying the theories of meaning and equivalence and their. Since poetry carries elements of expression that may vary according to societies. We will examine some of the attitudes and suggested translation strategies, procedures and methods in order to set the general framework that the translator may adopt in general. Especially with the poetic texts with regard to the transfer of the aesthetic, musical and rhythmic aspects.
