The study aimed to study the impact of the dimensions of Leadership Competencies on Achieving Organizational Excellence strategy and to identify the intermediate role played by the Leader Member eXchange in this relationship. The study was conducted on a sample of (384) individual in the service sectors in Ministry of Finance. The study found that there is a positive and significant effect of the dimensions of leadership competencies ( Self awareness, Self management, Social awareness, Social skills, and Cognitive clusters) on the dimensions of organizational excellences (Leadership, Policy & Strategy, People, Partnerships & Resources, Process, Products & Services, Customer results, and People results). There is a positive and significant effect on the dimensions of leadership competencies ( Self awareness, and Social skills) on leader member exchange. There is a positive and significant effect for leader member exchange on the dimensions of organizational excellences (Leadership, policy & Strategy, People, Partnerships & Resources, Process, Products & Services, Customer results, and People results). The study also found that there is an partially intermediate effect of leader member exchange in the relationship between the dimensions of leadership competencies ( Self awareness, and Social skills) only, and the dimensions of organizational excellences (Policy & Strategy, People, and Partnerships & Resources) only.
