المستخلص: هدف هذا البحث إلى تنمية مهارات الطريقة التاريخية والكفاء الذاتية لمعلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية بالمرحلة الإعدادية من خلال بناء برنامج قائم على مصادر دراسة التاريخ، وأثره على الفضول العقلي لدى تلاميذهم، وقد تضمن البرنامج التدريبي ستة موضوعات. وطبق على عينة مكونة من 15 معلم بإدارة الواحات البحرية التعليمية كمجموعة تجريبية (1)، 150 تلميذا كمجموعة تجريبية (2). ولقياس فاعلية البرنامج أعد الباحث اختبار مهارات الطريقة التاريخية، ومقياس للكفاء الذاتية، ومقياس للفضول العقلي لتلاميذهم وقد كشفت نتائج تطبيق أداتي البحث على معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية وتلاميذهم قبل وبعد تنفيذ البرنامج التدريبي عن وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.01 بين متوسطات درجات المعلمين في القياس القبلي والبعدي لاختبار مهارات الطريقة التاريخية ككل لصالح القياس البعدي، كما كشفت نتائج البحث عن وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.01 بين متوسطات درجات المعلمين المجموعة التجريبية في القياس القبلي والبعدي في مقياس الكفاء الذاتية ككل لصالح القياس البعدي، وكشفت نتائج البحث عن وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.01 بين متوسطات درجات التلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية في القياس القبلي والبعدي في مقياس الفضول العقلي ككل لصالح القياس البعدي وأن استخدام البرنامج التدريبي في ضوء مصادر دراسة التاريخ اتصف بدرجة عالية من الفاعلية في تنمية مهارات الطريقة التاريخية والكفاءة الذاتية لمعلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية وتنمية الفضول العقلي لدى تلاميذهم.

The aim of this research is to develop the skills of the historical method and the self-efficacy of social studies teachers in the preparatory stage by building a program based on the sources of studying history, and its impact on the mental curiosity of their students. The training program included six topics. It was applied to a sample of 15 teachers in the Bahariya Educational Oasis Administration as an experimental group (1), and 150 students as an experimental group (2). In order to measure the effectiveness of the program, the researcher prepared a test of the skills of the historical method, a measure of self-efficacy, and a measure of the mental curiosity of their students The results of the application of the two research tools on social studies teachers and their students before and after the implementation of the training program revealed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of 0.01 between the mean scores of the teachers in the pre and post measurement to test the skills of the historical method as a whole in favor of the post measurement. The results also revealed that there is a statistically significant difference. At the level of 0.01 between the mean scores of the experimental group teachers in the pre and post measurement in the self-efficacy scale as a whole in favor of the post measurement The results of the search revealed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of 0.01 between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group in the pre and post measurement in the mental curiosity scale as a whole in favor of the post measurement and that the use of the training program in the light of the sources of the study of history was characterized by a high degree of effectiveness in developing the skills of the historical method and selfefficacy For teachers of social studies and the development ofmental curiosity among their students.
