المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي إلى قياس فاعلية استراتيجية الفصل المقلوب في تدريس الدراسات الاجتماعية على تنمية المفاهيم لدى تلاميذ الصف الثامن بالمرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت. اعتمد البحث الحالي على المنهج الوصفي في إعداد الإطار النظري للبحث، ومواده، وأداته، وتحليل النتائج وتفسيرها، وتقديم التوصيات والمقترحات، والمنهج التجريبي الذي لا يقتصر على مجرد وصف الظواهر التي يتناولها البحث الحالي، وإنما يدرس متغيرات هذه الظاهرة، ويقوم على أساس إجراء تغير متعمد وبشروط معينة في العوامل التي يمكن أن تؤثر في الظاهرة موضوع الدراسة وهي: المفاهيم. تمثلت مشكلة البحث في ضعف اكتساب المفاهيم لدى تلاميذ الصف الثامن بالمرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت. تحددت مواد البحث في قائمة المفاهيم اللازم تنميتها لدى تلاميذ الصف الثامن بالمرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت، وكتيب التلميذ ودليل المعلم لوحدة "العالم الإسلامي تحديات وحلول"، والمصاغين وفقا لاستراتيجية الفصل المقلوب، وتمثلت أداة البحث في اختبار المفاهيم. توصل الباحث إلي نتائج مؤداها: وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات تلاميذ مجموعتي البحث في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار المفاهيم ككل، وأبعاده، لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. نسبة الكسب لبليك كانت مقبولة بصفة عامة في تنمية المفاهيم. حجم تأثير الاستراتيجية مرتفعا في المفاهيم، أي أن الاستراتيجية ذات فاعلية في تنمية المفاهيم لدى تلاميذ الصف الثامن بالمرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت. وبناء على نتائج البحث أوصي الباحث بضرورة استخدام استراتيجية الفصل المقلوب في تدريس الدراسات الاجتماعية بالمرحلة المتوسطة، وتدريب معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية بمدارس المرحلة المتوسطة على كيفية التدريس باستخدام استراتيجية الفصل المقلوب، وذلك من خلال عقد دورات تدريبية للمعلمين.

The aim of the current research is to measure the effectiveness of the flipped classroom strategy in teaching social studies on developing concepts for eighth-grade students in the middle school in the State of Kuwait. The current research relied on the descriptive approach in preparing the theoretical framework for the research, its materials, and tools, analyzing and interpreting the results, presenting recommendations and suggestions, and the experimental approach, which is not limited to merely describing the phenomena covered by the current research, but rather studies the variables of this phenomenon, and is based on The basis for a deliberate change, under certain conditions, in the factors that can affect the phenomenon under study, namely: Concepts. The research problem was represented in the weak acquisition of concepts by eighth-grade students in the middle school in the State of Kuwait. The research materials were specified in the list of concepts to be developed for eighth-grade students in the State of Kuwait, the student's handbook and the teacher's guide for the unit "The Islamic World Challenges and Solutions", and formulated according to the flipped classroom strategy, and the research tool was to test concepts. The researcher reached the following results:- There is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the two research groups in the post-application of testing the concepts as a whole, and its dimensions, in favor of the experimental group. Blake's gain ratio was generally acceptable in concept development.- The size of the impact of the strategy is high in the concepts, that is, the strategy is effective in developing the concepts of the eighth graders in the intermediate stage in the State of Kuwait. Based on the results of the research, the researcher recommended the necessity of using the flipped classroom strategy in teaching social studies at the intermediate stage, and training social studies teachers in middle school schools on how to teach using the flipped classroom strategy, through holding training courses for teachers.
